6 Months A major public sector digital service is entering a period of discovery. The work covers the overall bereavement notification system, in particular the feasibility of receiving early death notifications from a third party. It also covers the changes needed to share data beyond government departments with private sector organisations. We need a Senior Technical Architect to lead the technical discovery. Key responsibilities: Lead technical discovery activities and shape solution options Understand the existing technology landscape Identify risks and dependencies Define target architectures aligned with departmental digital standards, Government Digital Service standards and strategic business outcomes Engage stakeholders and present recommendations to governance forums Essential experience: Senior technical architecture experience in a discovery setting Strong systems integration expertise Stakeholder engagement and presenting to governance forums Previous public and or government experience If this matches your skills and experience, please apply today!
