Job Description:
- Management and resolution of tickets relating to incident, change, service request and problem processes in accordance with DDaT operating models.
- Release management including building the deployment packages ready for release into production environment.
- Identify, agree, and implement ideas for Continuous Service Improvement across the service management processes and technology.
- Interface with other support services, raising and responding to requests and undertaking shared technical investigations as required to resolve incidents.
- Be proactive about investigating issues in seeking additional knowledge from subject matter experts.
- Able to work and take ownership of a Legacy service, with a Legacy deployment model.
- Development and Engineering:
- Develop and maintain the existing service.
- Complete changes within a Legacy environment, while taking ownership of the domain to become a subject matter expert for the service.
- Updated service documentation where necessary.
- Peer review conducted for each change.
- Code committed to the Master branch.
- Writing and passing of Feature/external API tests as needed.
- Additional update of API documentation where required.
- Demonstration and acceptance of changes by the Programme Manager or agent on behalf of PM during the Sprint Review.
- Submission of a list of completed tickets or functionality to QAT at the end of each sprint for approval by Programme Manager or agent on behalf of PM and Delivery Manager.
- Review and approval of completed tickets by the Programme Manager or agent on behalf of PM (assisted by Delivery Manager) following a demonstration of functionality if necessary.
- Marking of tickets as Done at the conclusion of the Show and Tell session by the entire team.
