Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Technical Engineer to configure, maintain and optimise Atlassian tooling, ensuring the platform meets organisational needs at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on Jira and Confluence upgrades, migrations and consolidations
- Perform technical assessments and health checks across Atlassian instances
- Administer Bitbucket and Bamboo alongside core Jira/Confluence products
- Configure Jira Service Management queues, SLAs and automation
- Support integration between Jira and other applications via APIs/scripting
- Configure and manage CI/CD automation tooling for upgrades and testing
Requirements:
- 35+ years' experience in Atlassian solution delivery/Application Engineering
- Atlassian technical migration accreditation/certifications
- Certified in administration of Jira and Confluence
- Strong API and scripting knowledge
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps/CI/CD and ITIL
Desirable: experience configuring workflows, custom fields and reporting dashboards with customers
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
