We are a seed-stage AI start-up backed by leading European and US funds. Our founders previously built and deployed cutting-edge AI systems at world-class research labs and high-growth technology companies. We apply next-generation AI agents to transform mission-critical enterprise workflows that currently depend on brittle, manual processes. Our goal is to make these workflows safer, faster and far more resilient through thoughtful, responsible AI.

What you'll be doing:

  • You will design, build and run the cloud-native backbone that powers our AI agent workers at scale.
  • Shape a multi-cloud platform (AWS first, Azure next) with infrastructure as code and GitOps, balancing speed, cost and security.
  • Run high-throughput Kubernetes clusters (EKS), adding service mesh, policy enforcement and self-service tooling so product teams can ship confidently.
  • Own CI/CD from commit to production, creating automated tests, image scanning and progressive roll-outs that make releases routine.
  • Build end-to-end observability (metrics, traces, logs, alerts) so engineers and customers trust system health.
  • Champion security and compliance, including secrets management, zero-trust networking, least-privilege IAM and audit trails ready for GDPR and SOC 2.
  • Partner with AI and product engineers to shape runtime environments and data pipelines for large-scale model serving.
  • Continuously tune reliability and cost through chaos testing, capacity planning and proactive incident response.

What we think β€œgreat” looks like:

  • Deep cloud mastery with AWS, including networking, IAM, storage and compute.
  • Strong experience with containers and orchestration, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps tools like Argo CD or Flux.
  • Comfort with infrastructure as code, for example well-structured Terraform modules, policy as code and reusable patterns.
  • Advocacy for CI/CD, building pipelines in GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or CircleCI with automated tests and security gates.
  • An observability and SRE mindset, using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki or ELK and OpenTelemetry.
  • A security-first but pragmatic approach, covering secrets management, image provenance and zero-trust networking.
  • Proficiency in at least one systems language (Go, Python or Java) and familiarity with modern event-driven architectures.
  • The ability to explain complex concepts in plain English to executives, customers and non-technical colleagues.

What we're offering:

  • Base salary from Β£90,000 - Β£110,000... plus meaningful equity in a company pre Series A.
  • Hybrid flexibility, with collaboration in person for the important work and remote working the rest of the time.
  • Private healthcare, pension scheme and an annual off-site to disconnect and recharge.
  • Visa sponsorship available for exceptional talent already eligible to work in the UK.
  • An opportunity to define the engineering culture and leave your mark on technology that could reshape a vast, underserved market.

Interview Process:

  • Following an initial screening call with our talent partner, the interview process will run as follows:
  • A 30-40 minute video chat with our founding CTO to explore mutual fit.
  • A take-home or live architectural exercise focused on practical system design, not puzzle questions.
  • A paid half-day on-site in our central London workspace to pair with the team, meet the founders and confirm the chemistry.
