Steadman Brown are working with a subscription‐model business who are looking to hire a Head of Business Applications, to join them on an initial 6‐month contract. This organisation implemented Salesforce several years ago and have since gone on to build a broad suite of Business Applications including HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics to manage their entire Sales, Service, Marketing and Finance functions. As they prepare for a period of massive growth in the business, they are keen to hire a Head of Business Applications to own and lead Business Applications, lead an internal Business Apps team, and drive the wide Business Applications roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small but highly skilled team of Salesforce, and MSD operatives
- Own, refine and execute the Business Applications roadmap, across CRM and ERP
- Work with SLT to define key requirements and project needs, before leading these initiatives
- Manage a large backlog of items, focusing on key business needs, wins and changemaker tasks.
- Oversee and lead external vendors, including a Salesforce development partner
- Be the link between Architecture teams, and the Business, to ensure solutions meet business requirements and processes.
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience operating in a Business Systems / Business Applications lead role
- Strong experience of leading Salesforce centred projects, around Sales and Service cloud
- Experience leading Salesforce Administrators and 3rd party development teams
- Experience owning CRM and ERP projects
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including C‐suite
- Experience working with subscription‐based businesses highly advantageous
- Experience readying a business for Agentforce, highly advantageous
