I am working exclusively with a well known global Salesforce Customer in the Financial Services, that are looking for a Salesforce DevSecOps Lead to join their team. This role is responsible for defining and leading the DevSecOps strategy, establishing a unified and secure CI/CD approach across multiple product teams. It combines strategic ownership with hands-on technical guidance, compliant and efficient delivery pipelines while aligning stakeholders and suppliers to consistent ways of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement DevSecOps strategy and roadmap, including future-state capabilities and quality engineering practices
- Architect and standardise CI/CD pipelines to enable secure, reliable and automated deployments
- Provide technical leadership across DevOps practices, including automation, testing, monitoring and security integration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align delivery with business and technical objectives
- Influence and manage third-party suppliers to enforce standards and ensure consistent delivery approaches
- Integrate security practices (e.g. SAST/SCA) into pipelines to meet compliance and governance requirements
- Oversee deployment processes, change control, and environment management to ensure auditability and stability
- Support integration architecture across systems using APIs and middleware
- Drive continuous improvement across DevSecOps tooling, processes and performance metrics
Experience and Qualifications:
- Strong DevSecOps leadership experience, with a track record of building or maturing DevOps capabilities
- Deep expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and automation
- Must have experience with Copado and Azure DevOps
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture and deployment considerations within DevOps frameworks
- Proven ability to design end-to-end DevSecOps architectures and make strategic tooling decisions
- Experience integrating security into development pipelines and aligning to enterprise standards
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders and suppliers
- Background working in complex, high-pressure environments with multiple teams and dependencies
