Steadman Brown have partnered exclusively with an International Brand based near Coventry, who are looking to expand their testing function, responsible for improving the quality and functionality of the software products throughout the development lifecycle. The Quality Engineer is responsible for owning and delivering testing activities within scope, related to engineering systems and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, with a particular focus on Siemens Teamcenter and its integration landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and maintain test strategies for PLM platforms (Teamcenter) and associated engineering integrations (CAD, ERP, manufacturing systems).
  • Plan and execute testing across engineering transformation workstreams, including system, integration, and UAT phases.
  • Manage test cycles, environments, and defect triage for complex PLM deployments.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to validate solutions against real-world engineering use cases.
  • Validate CAD integrations, product structures (BOMs), metadata, and configuration rules.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience testing PLM systems (e.g. Teamcenter) or similar engineering platforms.
  • Strong understanding of engineering lifecycles and product development processes.
  • Experience with CAD integrations, BOM structures, and engineering change management processes.
  • Experience testing complex system integrations (PLM ERP Manufacturing systems).
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies across functional, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira (Xray/Zephyr).
  • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter implementation or transformation programmes.
  • Experience in test automation (e.g. Selenium, Playwright).
