Stead & Wilkins Ltd are pleased to announce an opportunity to join our team at our factory in Dartford, Kent. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Relevant work experience, ideally within precision sheet metal / plate environment working to a tolerance.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Engineering workshop knowledge – working with aluminium, stainless and mild steel.
- CNC Brake Press (Training Provided).
- TIG and MIG welding an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ideally, time served.
Competitive rates of pay: £15-£18 per hour DOE - Training provided. Modern equipment and staff welfare facilities. Interesting and varied project work.
Core Hours: Monday to Thursday (07:30-16:00) Friday (07:30-14:00)
Overtime: Mon to Sat (Time and a Half)
Annual Leave: 20 days per annum for the first year of service and then 25 days per annum thereafter - Bank Holidays in addition.
