CCTV / Access Control Engineer - Spider is advertising on behalf of STC Solutions Ltd , who are looking for an experienced CCTV / Access Control Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis . This is a primarily field-based, Monday-Friday role covering East Anglia, with their modern purpose-built office and workshop based near Ipswich, Suffolk . Fantastic company benefits include: Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays Benefits: Pension, company vehicle with optional private use, uniform, PPE, tools, ongoing training and free on-site parking About the role: You will install, service and maintain CCTV, access control and security systems across customer sites, working independently and within a small team.
Key responsibilities include:
Installing, servicing and maintaining CCTV and access control systems Diagnosing faults and resolving technical issues Assisting with job planning, parts ordering and accurate records Delivering professional customer service and maintaining safety standards Supporting weighing engineers with equipment servicing and installation when required About you: You will have previous CCTV and/or access control installation, servicing or maintenance experience , alongside a working knowledge of IT equipment.
You'll be organised, practical and confident troubleshooting faults, managing your workload and building positive customer relationships. A full UK driving licence is essential , along with the ability to climb ladders, lift equipment and undergo a DBS check . You must be physically capable of lifting weights when assisting weighing engineers.
