Plymouth CAST Multi-Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a Trainee Science Technician for its two secondary schools, Notre Dame Plymouth and St Boniface’s College. Supporting the Head of Science and Senior Science Technician to deliver well planned practical lessons and overseeing health and safety in the department as part of a small team of technicians, the successful candidate will be key to ensuring that we as schools have a safe learning environment for science, delivering the best possible education to over 1000 students.
Full training will be provided but a good understanding of Science and GCSE/A Level qualifications in the subject would be advantageous. There is the potential for the successful candidate to move into a full technician role once full training is completed and experience gained.
