The Role: We’re looking for a strategic and commercially minded Lead Insurance Proposition Manager to take ownership of our insurance product suite and drive its success across the full product lifecycle. This is a pivotal role where you’ll shape product strategy, enhance customer value, and ensure our offerings remain competitive in a fast‑moving market. You’ll collaborate across multiple teams, influence senior stakeholders, and play a key role in delivering innovative, customer‑focused insurance solutions.
What will you do?
- Define and evolve the product strategy and roadmap, using performance data, customer insights, and market trends
- Own and deliver the product vision across partnerships, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Translate strategy into actionable product backlogs, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise initiatives, refine requirements, and remove delivery bottlenecks
- Lead product planning sessions to align on priorities and outcomes
- Drive continuous product improvement, identifying monetisation opportunities and cross‑product synergies
- Gather and analyse market intelligence to inform product development and innovation
- Produce high‑quality business and process documentation
- Work closely with partners, underwriters, and internal teams to deliver compliant and customer‑focused products
- Support the creation of customer documentation, policy wordings, and digital content
- Partner with Design and Marketing teams on product collateral
- Support the rollout and adoption of new digital capabilities
- Ensure strong governance around conduct risk, fair value, and customer outcomes
- Act as the go‑to expert for product knowledge, competitor insights, and market developments
- Support product launches and updates, including third‑party integrations (e.g. price comparison sites)
- Define and oversee testing, validation, and change management strategies
- Drive continuous improvement with Development teams
Essentials:
- Proven experience managing multiple products and cross‑functional teams
- Strong product management and development background
- Experience in dependency management across teams and priorities
- Confident senior stakeholder management skills
- Solid project management capability, including risk and issue management
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple workstreams
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
