Travel Insurance Proposition Managers are responsible for the development of the Insurance product and proposition strategy, defining new product requirements. The role will manage the full product life cycle and collaborate across the business to continually improve and ensure the smooth delivery of our product offering. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and motivated individual who will act as a subject matter expert and point of reference for the product whilst keeping up to date on regulatory and market developments to ensure product compliance, ongoing enhancement, and development.
What You'll Do
- Own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for partnerships.
- Translate business objectives into prioritised, measurable deliverables.
- Identify and recommend commercial opportunities for product features.
- Spot cross-product synergies and new use cases.
- Gather market intelligence to shape product development.
- Produce clear requirements and process documentation.
- Research customer needs and align initiatives with stakeholder expectations.
- Manage product backlogs and business priorities.
- Collaborate with partners and underwriters on policy and customer documentation.
- Ensure product design aligns with fair value and customer outcomes.
- Act as day-to-day product expert, tracking competitor offerings and market trends.
- Support change management, testing, and internal communications.
- Maintain third-party distributor sales requirements.
- Work with dev teams to drive process improvement.
Experience
- Experience in insurance product or proposition management/development.
- Strong time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Comfortable engaging across all levels of the business.
- Organised, proactive, and collaborative team player.
- Knowledge of the UK price comparison site market.
- Insurance industry background, especially travel insurance.
- Understanding of EU insurance markets.
