Do you have experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse? Are you looking for a new and interesting opportunity? We are excited to announce the launch of the Raneem’s Law West Yorkshire Pilot, part of a national initiative designed to strengthen the police response to domestic abuse. Based in Bradford and Wakefield, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking initiative that delivers meaningful impact for victims and communities.

About the role: This role will lead the coordination, operational management and delivery of the pilot programme as well as providing strategic leadership and line management to the team of Domestic Abuse Specialists and Senior Specialists. Key responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day service operations, workforce planning, performance management and driving continuous service improvement. Working collaboratively with West Yorkshire Police, this role will identify learning opportunities, enhance processes and support the ongoing development and evaluation of the Raneem’s Law Pilot. 22.5hrs per week, 3 days over a variable working pattern Monday to Sunday. £38,000 FTE per annum. Actual salary £22,800 per annum. 12-months fixed term initially.

About you: Our ideal candidate will have a recognised domestic abuse qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field and experience of multi-agency working including MARAC processes and police or criminal justice agencies. We are looking for someone who has an in-depth understanding of violence against women and girls with knowledge of safeguarding practices and legislation, as well as risk and need assessment and safety planning. As Team Coordinator, we are looking for someone who has experience of managing services/projects and contributing to service quality, performance and improvement. You will need to be able to analyse complex and sensitive information and provide clear, evidence-based professional advice within a fast-paced service. Our ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills with the ability, and flexibility, to manage competing priorities and changing demands.
