The Role
- Consistently achieve annual new business sales targets, driving revenue growth across the organisation.
- Evaluate, recommend and represent the company’s involvement in trade organisations and industry events, acting as a senior brand ambassador.
- Proactively sell the full portfolio of products and services, including enterprise software, data services, digital analytics, custom development and related offerings.
- Collaborate with sales and leadership teams across global offices to pursue and close international opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing to coordinate campaigns, content and messaging; manage analyst relationships, inquiries and presentations.
- Own and deliver high-quality, consistent product demonstrations, working closely with R&D and Operations to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Provide commercial insight into product and service design, pricing and go-to-market strategy, feeding customer and market insights back to R&D.
- Monitor, analyse and share competitive intelligence with global sales and marketing teams.
- Develop and articulate sales strategy, with a strong focus on image recognition products and services.
- Work closely with the Chief Growth Officer to enhance the capability and effectiveness of sales and marketing teams.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all sales activity within the Internal Sales System (ISS) and CRM.
- Prepare and maintain sales documentation, reports, leads and customer correspondence in line with company requirements.
- Manage selling expenses and ensure effective utilisation of sales resources, including leadership of any direct reports.
- Communicate regularly with senior executive leadership, providing updates on opportunities, risks, demos, initiatives and performance.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required, contributing at an executive level across CRM, sales force automation, custom development and database management activities.
- Support the broader business strategy and report regularly to senior management and, as required, the Chief Executive Officer.
