Staycity is looking for an AssistantNight Manager to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. In return, you’ll earn a highly competitive salary.
Staycity currently operates in excess of 5,000 apartments across several major European cities including Birmingham, Dublin, Edinburgh, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Marseille, Paris, York and Lyon with many more exciting cities to follow.
The Staycity family is continuously growing, enabling us to achieve ourgoal of becoming the largest mid-market, pan-European city aparthotel brand with 15,000 keys operational a reality. We are now looking for an Assistant Night Managerto be a part of the family.
Staycity Group’s expansion is now rolling out under two brands – Staycity Aparthotels and our new premium brand Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity.
Key responsibilities as our Night Manager will include:
- To ensure the smooth running of the front desk on a daily basis, liaising between the guest and all departments
- Welcome all guests to the hotel in a friendly manner in conjunction with the Standard of Procedure
- Monitor the preparation of breakfast for our Staycity cafe
- To ensure that payment is verified upon check in and follow the procedure for each different payment type
- Supervise department employees ensuring the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated
- To anticipate and rectify problems to ensure the guests wellbeing and satisfaction within the hotel
- Manage and motivate a team of direct reports on a daily basis
Our ideal Night Manager will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Previous management experience in a fast-paced environment is essential to deliver this role
- Eager to learn and to develop
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Outstanding customer service skills and attention to details
Experience using Opera is beneficial and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for this role.
