Are you a creatively driven social media expert who understands how content actually drives demand - not just likes? We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands how people discover and choose where to stay today, and is excited by the opportunity to shape standout hospitality brands. At Stay the Night, we work with some of the most innovative hotels, hostels and hybrid hospitality concepts around the world - helping them define their positioning, build demand and drive direct bookings.
THE ROLE
In this role, you’ll sit within our social and content team, supporting the day-to-day delivery of content across a range of client accounts. This is not a “post and schedule” role. You’ll be responsible for bringing brands to life through content that is creatively strong, culturally relevant, strategically aligned and ultimately designed to drive action. Working closely with our Social Media & Content Manager and Creative Strategist, you’ll help turn strategy into content that performs - across Instagram and TikTok in particular. You enjoy spotting what’s worth showing, turning real moments into content, and understanding why something works (not just that it does).
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Supporting the day-to-day management of client social media accounts (primarily Instagram & TikTok)
- Planning, creating and scheduling content in line with client strategies and content calendars
- Editing short-form video content (Reels / TikToks) that feels native to each platform
- Writing captions that balance brand storytelling with searchability and engagement
- Supporting the development of client social media strategies
- Identifying on-site moments, trends and opportunities that can be turned into content
- Supporting community management - responding to comments and messages in a way that reflects each brand’s tone of voice
- Assisting with onsite content shoots
- Monitoring performance and feeding insights back into future content
- Keeping up to date with platform changes, trends and cultural moments
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a social media or content role (agency or in-house)
- Strong experience creating short-form video content for Instagram and TikTok
- Confidence in editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Canva)
- A strong eye for content - knowing what makes something visually and emotionally engaging
- Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone across different brands
- An understanding of TikTok and Instagram as search platforms (not just social platforms)
- The ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities without losing attention to detail
- A proactive mindset - bringing ideas and energy, not just executing tasks
- Experience in hospitality, travel or lifestyle brands is a bonus!
