At Stay Original, we're growing. As we continue to expand our collection of 7 unique hotels and restaurants across the Southwest, we're looking for an ambitious and driven hospitality leader to join our business as a General Manager in Training.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop into a General Manager role while learning the Stay Original way across our diverse portfolio of properties. You'll work alongside experienced leaders across multiple sites, gaining exposure to different styles of operation, teams and guest experiences, before stepping into your own General Manager position as new opportunities arise within the business - and they will!
What you can expect from the role:
- Training and working across a variety of Stay Original properties
- Supporting General Managers with the day-to-day operation of their businesses
- Learning all aspects of hotels, restaurants and people management
- Driving exceptional guest experiences and commercial performance
- Building strong relationships with teams across the group
- Developing the skills and knowledge needed to successfully lead your own property
A bit more about you:
- You have previous experience as a Deputy General Manager or similar senior hospitality management role
- You have a genuine ambition to become a General Manager
- You are currently a General Manager of a smaller business and want to expand into a more complex business
- You have strong leadership, people management and communication skills
- You have commercial awareness and a hands-on approach
- You have the flexibility to work across multiple locations as business needs require
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Based within reasonable travelling distance of our properties, from Bradford-on-Avon through to Dorchester and across Somerset
