Stax Trade Centres is seeking a Warehouse Staff Member to support stock replenishment, shop‑floor merchandising, customer service and general warehouse duties. The role requires the use of industry equipment, adherence to health and safety procedures and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock replenishment and inventory management.
- Assist in shop‑floor merchandising and display.
- Pick and pack orders using handheld scanners.
- Palettise and shrink‑wrap products for dispatch.
- Operate handling equipment and maintain safety standards.
- Use industrial warehouse ladders and handling equipment safely.
- Submit monthly customer issue and performance reports to the Branch Manager.
- Assist the Admin Supervisor with accounts receivable and credit limits.
- Support clearance of end‑line stock through agreed discount and pricing structures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Forklift truck reach licence (advantage).
- Experience working with industrial warehouse ladders (must).
- Ability to multitask and maintain professional standards at all times.
- Excellent communication skills with line managers, staff and customers.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of warehouse stock systems.
Shift Pattern
- Week 1: Mon – Thu 8:00 am – 3:30 pm, Fri 8:30 am – 4:00 pm.
- Week 2: Mon – Thu 12:30 pm – 8:00 pm.
Weekly hours range from 30 to 35 based on the selected shift pattern.
