Role Summary

Stavtar Solutions is looking for an Implementation Manager to own the end-to-end onboarding and delivery experience for our clients.

You will serve as the primary point of contact from contract signing through go-live, managing timelines, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional coordination to ensure every implementation lands on time, within scope, and aligned to the business value the client signed up for.

This role sits at the intersection of technical delivery, client discovery, and project management.

It is ideal for a detail-oriented, client-facing delivery professional who can run complex Saa S implementations in fintech or enterprise environments, listening deeply, translating requirements into clear specifications, managing scope diplomatically, and keeping engineering, product, and the client moving in the same direction.

Stavtar is a Saa S company that provides business spend management and expense allocation software purpose-built for complex organizations such as alternative asset managers.

Our product, Stav Pay, has changed the way complex businesses manage their spend and expense allocation, and Implementation Managers are how we get every new client there successfully.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Onboarding & Delivery
  • Own the full implementation lifecycle from contract signing through go-live, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to customer expectations and business value.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout onboarding, managing day-to-day communication and stakeholder relationships across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, and implementation documentation for each engagement.
  • Proactively identify, track, and elevate risks, issues, and scope changes early, before they turn into problems.
  • Run multiple concurrent implementations without letting quality or communication slip on any of them.
  • Client Discovery & Requirements
  • Lead structured discovery sessions with clients to understand workflows, goals, constraints, and pain points.
  • Translate ambiguous or incomplete client input into clear, actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering.
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and edge cases early to avoid rework downstream, and maintain an organized, evolving requirements log aligned with what is being built.
  • Document business processes, data flows, and user journeys, producing diagrams (swimlanes, sequence flows) that both clients and engineers can follow.
  • Manage expectations and help clients prioritize needs vs. wants, pushing back diplomatically to protect scope and timeline.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work directly with Implementation Engineers to coordinate technical delivery, serving as the bridge between the client and engineering through development and deployment.
  • Support QA by clarifying acceptance criteria and validating that delivered functionality matches signed-off requirements and client needs.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure smooth handoffs and aligned execution across the customer lifecycle.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, surfacing feedback and recurring issues to the appropriate teams.
  • Process, Quality & Delivery Metrics
  • Follow and contribute to Stavtar's implementation methodology, templates, and delivery standards.
  • Track and report on key delivery metrics, schedule adherence, scope control, and customer satisfaction, and keep visibility into project economics and delivery tradeoffs on your engagements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and share learnings across the team.
  • Utilize AI tools to automate and improve quality of client discovery process, client onboarding, and administrative tasks.
  • Product Feedback Loop
  • Identify patterns across your client deployments, recurring issues, feature gaps, and friction points, and channel them into a structured feedback loop with Product to inform the roadmap and drive scalable process improvements.
  • What Success Looks Like
  • Clients feel heard, understood, and confident throughout onboarding.
  • Implementations run smoothly, on schedule, and with minimal rework.
  • Engineering receives clean, unambiguous specs and clear direction.
  • Risks are surfaced and managed early, not discovered late.
  • Every go-live is a reference-able success the client would repeat.

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in implementation, professional services, accounting/finance, project management, or client delivery roles within Saa S and/or fintech.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations.
  • Prior experience writing user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria, with the ability to map complex processes into clear specifications.
  • Strong technical aptitude in APIs, integrations, data flows, settlement and reconciliation processes, sufficient to coordinate with engineering and guide client expectations.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with a track record of managing complex stakeholder relationships and presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Ability to push back diplomatically and manage scope.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to operate in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Experience with alternative asset managers, investment management, or financial services a plus.
  • Tools
  • Requirements & project tracking tools (Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Confluence, Smartsheet, Notion, etc.)
  • Diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Miro, Draw. io, etc.)
  • Proficiency in excel & MS Office Suite
  • Experience with AI & automation tools
  • Familiarity with SQL, data analysis/visualization tools (nice to have)
  • Why Join
  • Own high-impact onboarding for a fast-growing product used by sophisticated financial organizations.
  • Influence how the product and our implementation methodology evolve based on real client needs.
  • Build scalable frameworks for implementing future clients.
  • Clear path to grow into Solutions Architecture, Product, or Implementation leadership.
