This is a full-time, on-site Sales Assistant role based in Barking, Greater London (IG11 0RJ). The Sales Assistant will play a key role in supporting vehicle sales by managing enquiries, engaging with customers, and guiding them through the buying process. The role is suited to someone confident speaking with customers, organised with follow-ups, and motivated by achieving results while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Must have a driving licence.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to sales enquiries from phone calls, emails, and website leads
- Follow up on new and existing enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Engage with customers on-site and over the phone
- Discuss vehicle features, pricing, availability, and purchasing options
- Qualify customer needs and match them with suitable vehicles
- Support the sales process from initial enquiry through to completion
- Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries and follow-ups
- Ensure customers receive clear, honest, and professional information
- Support day-to-day sales operations and showroom activity
- Be open to handling social media accounts and responding to online queries
- Be open to appearing on social media content (e.g. videos or posts) when required
- Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence speaking with customers both in person and over the phone
- Ability to explain products clearly and professionally
- Target-driven and results-focused mindset

- Basic computer skills (email, systems, spreadsheets)
- Previous automotive or used-car sales experience is preferred but not essential
