We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to support the smooth running of our day‑to‑day warehouse operations. This role involves picking and packing orders, handling incoming and outgoing goods, and ensuring stock is stored accurately and safely. You will be expected to maintain a clean, organised workspace and follow all health and safety procedures, while working both independently and as part of a team to meet operational targets. This job is 5 days a week in our Newry Warehouse.
What you’ll do:
- Complete all work to the appropriate standard and within operational schedules
- Work to the required production and quality standards
- Work as part of the team to ensure that the daily production targets are met
- Familiarise yourself with all relevant operational procedures and comply with all instructions
- Familiarise yourself and comply with STATSports quality standards
- Actively participate in daily team briefings
- Ensure that all housekeeping in your area is maintained to the highest possible standards
- Comply fully with all Company Health and Safety policies
What you’ll need:
- At least 6 months’ experience in a warehouse environment
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (e.g., Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to follow processes and instructions effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
It would be great if you had:
- Understanding of LEAN principles or continuous improvement practices
- Forklift training
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Good communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
