Delivery Requirements
- Configuration and set-up of all Statsports hardware for all Women’s teams pre-camp and check in post camp.
- To be available, in person or online to upload pre camp player GPS information to FA insights database systems.
- To be available, in person or online to exchange post camp player information utilising the Statsports Exchange system to clubs.
- To be available, in person or online to assist in upkeep of FA specific data insights collection and upload during camps & tournaments, such as collection and upload of training exposure data.
- When required, remote support to assist on camp staff in delivery of PPMN objectives.
STATSports Account Management
- Deliver appropriate and up to date training in functionality and use of STATSports equipment, in particular the Apex Pod, Apex Software and Apex Streaming System, such training to be provided to FA staff prior to any use of the Equipment at the Training Camps and during such Training Camps.
- Create and maintain a standard operating procedure for use of STATSports equipment across all FA teams and staff.
- Understand the specific needs and objectives of The FA, developing customised solutions and strategies to meet their performance goals; collaborate with the product development team to tailor products and services to better suit The FA’s needs.
- Implement and manage STATSports databases and data storage solutions for The FA.
- Provide sports science and technical consultancy and support assistance for the FA relating to STATSports.
- Responsible for providing, delivering and installing upgrades to the Equipment and software as soon as reasonably practicable once they are available.
- Responsible for maintenance of all STATSports hardware and replacement of faulty equipment when appropriate.
- Providing The FA with free access to Supplier workshops and appropriate materials for continued professional development.
The FA Project Management
- Work with the Data Insights and PPMN departments when required to provide data analysis insights and feedback where directed by the FA.
Hybrid Working
- 1 x day per week onsite at SGP.
- Flexible working pattern based on live delivery days with pathway teams and travel around camps.
Essential Criteria
- At least a 2.1 in Sports & Exercise Science or equivalent.
- Experience working or coaching in high performance sports using a GPS performance tracking system.
- Able to travel to Saint George's Park 1 day a week.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in using STATSports GPS performance tracking system previously.
- Experience/knowledge in using programming language or data analytics tool such as Python, Tableau, Power BI etc.
This role will be subject to Enhanced CRC check.
