About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative to support the smooth running of our day-to-day warehouse operations. This role involves picking and packing orders, handling incoming and outgoing goods, and ensuring stock is stored accurately and safely. You will be expected to maintain a clean, organised workspace and follow all health and safety procedures, while working both independently and as part of a team to meet operational targets. This job is 5 days a week in our Newry Warehouse.

What you'll do:

  • Complete all work to the appropriate standard and within operational schedules.
  • Work to the required production and quality standards.
  • Work as part of the team to ensure that the daily production targets are met.
  • Familiarise yourself with all relevant operational procedures and comply with all instructions.
  • Familiarise yourself and comply with STATSports quality standards.
  • Actively participate in your daily team briefings.
  • Ensure that all housekeeping in your area is maintained to the highest possible standards.
  • Comply fully with all Company Health and Safety policies.

What you'll need:

  • At least 6 months experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow processes and instructions effectively.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

It would be great if you had:

  • Understanding of LEAN principles or continuous improvement practices.
  • Forklift training.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
