We are looking for an authoritative and motivated Salesforce Product Owner to drive a vision, strategy, and delivery of our Salesforce platform which is in need of rejuvenation. This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, to help us focus on delivering the maximum benefit back to the business.
You will own the Salesforce roadmap, prioritise the backlog, and form and develop excellent working relationships with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions within and outside of Salesforce.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own the Salesforce product vision, roadmap, and release plans
- Evangelise, educate and demonstrate on what good looks like within Salesforce
- Provide confidence to stakeholders to reduce noise and conflict
- Share opinionated views on what good looks like and what is right for the business
- Form steering and working groups to take in and manage business requirements
- Set expectations and resolve conflict from cross-functional stakeholders
- Be the primary point of contact for Salesforce queries and decisions
- Provide C-level updates, metrics, and show progress towards vision and strategy
- Own and prioritise the product backlog based on business value and ROI
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Participate in Agile activities (sprint planning, backlog pruning, reviews)
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions and support
- Champion a user-centric approach to Salesforce design and functionality
- Drive adoption and continuous improvement of the platform
- Gather feedback and analytical data to optimise solutions and demonstrate ROI
- Support training and enablement initiatives
- Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices, security, and governance standards
- Validate delivered features against acceptance criteria
- Manage risks, dependencies, and technical debt
- Maintain documentation for processes and solutions
Required Qualifications:
- 5 – 10 years experience as a Product Owner or Consultant working within Salesforce
- Coolly manage demanding business stakeholder requirements and priorities
- Demonstrate confidence, clarity, and diplomacy in presenting to and influencing C-level
- 5 years plus experience managing product backlogs and delivering digital products
- Commercial mindset with focus on value delivery and ROI
- Own the core vendor relationship with Salesforce, and other associated systems
- 5 years plus experience in delivering large scale Salesforce deployments, instance overhauls, and/or critical integrations
- Architectural technical and business enablement authority in Salesforce products (specifically Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud)
- Strong practical understanding of Salesforce configuration (flows, objects, validation rules)
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Product Owner, or Platform App Builder) are highly desirable
