Responsibilities:
We’re recruiting for a Betting & Performance Integrity Analyst to join our growing and multi-disciplinary Stats Perform Integrity team in central London. This is an opportunity to become a key member of the Integrity team and help identify and investigate potential corruption across a number of different sports. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated individual with a strong attention to detail, who will be responsible for global betting market monitoring, betting and performance analysis and report writing. You will be using our betting market monitoring system to analyse betting markets to identify matches of concern and support Rights Holders, working closely with our intelligence and fast data teams. You will also analyse on-field performances in matches of concern and draft the analysis in reports, alongside relevant statistics from the Opta database.
Job Purpose:
- Analyse betting patterns of global betting operators in line with SLAs
- Analyse on-field performances in matches of concern
- Compile reports for governing bodies and rights holders
- Improve current systems and processes
- Develop and promote Stats Perform Integrity’s capabilities and products
- Work with our intelligence unit and liaise with industry stakeholders
- Strong mathematical background and analytical skills
- Good knowledge and understanding of sport, particularly football
- Good understanding of global sports betting markets
- Experience conducting performance analysis on football matches
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with clients
- Strong Excel, Power Query or SQL knowledge
- A keen interest in sport integrity issues
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Experience with Python or R, or a desire to learn
