Job Responsibilities

  1. Survey, disassemble, repair, evaluate, support, assemble and test various STATS tools/services and equipment at onshore, offshore, customer and STATS locations to standards/procedures set out by STATS and STATS’s customers/clients.
  2. Travel to onshore/offshore sites both in the USA and overseas in support of STATS operational requirements.
  3. Represent the company in a professional and effective manner at all times.
  4. Maintain a high standard of quality to the STATS products and services.
  5. Work safely to protect all colleagues, clients and equipment.
  6. Report any defects to material, components or equipment to your supervisor.
  7. Ensure all relevant drawings, procedures and instructions are the latest revisions prior to work commencing.
  8. Proactively propose and introduce new assembly and testing techniques to improve productivity or safety.
  9. Liaise with Level 2 & 3 Technicians and the Workshop/Assembly & Test Supervisor on any issues arising.
  10. Report any environmental and health & safety issues that arise.
  11. Work within STATS standards and company procedures at all times.
  12. Involved in Environmental, Health & Safety issues.
  13. Perform any other duties required by the Workshop/Assembly & Test Supervisor.
  14. Liaison with the Workshop/Assembly & Test Supervisor and Workshop Technicians on any material, customer/project issues.

Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities

  1. Comply with STATS Integrated Management System when carrying out project engineering tasks.
  2. Comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
  3. Ensure all accidents/incidents/near misses/hazards are immediately reported to the QHSE team.

Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge

  1. Familiar with pressure equipment/piping and hazards of working on pressurized systems.
  2. Must have completed and passed the Level 1 and 2 internal technical training.
  3. Must be able to pass the STATS pre-employment physical tests.
  4. Must have worked in an industrial/mechanical environment.
  5. Mechanical aptitude skills and excellent communication skills; able to work independently and/or as part of a team.
  6. Able to meet the physical demands of the position.
  7. A Level 1 employee shall be able to work independently on activities that the person is qualified to perform.
  8. A Level 1 employee shall not perform any supervision activities.
