Job Responsibilities
- Survey, disassemble, repair, evaluate, support, assemble and test various STATS tools/services and equipment at onshore, offshore, customer and STATS locations to standards/procedures set out by STATS and STATS’s customers/clients.
- Travel to onshore/offshore sites both in the USA and overseas in support of STATS operational requirements.
- Represent the company in a professional and effective manner at all times.
- Maintain a high standard of quality to the STATS products and services.
- Work safely to protect all colleagues, clients and equipment.
- Report any defects to material, components or equipment to your supervisor.
- Ensure all relevant drawings, procedures and instructions are the latest revisions prior to work commencing.
- Proactively propose and introduce new assembly and testing techniques to improve productivity or safety.
- Liaise with Level 2 & 3 Technicians and the Workshop/Assembly & Test Supervisor on any issues arising.
- Report any environmental and health & safety issues that arise.
- Work within STATS standards and company procedures at all times.
- Involved in Environmental, Health & Safety issues.
- Perform any other duties required by the Workshop/Assembly & Test Supervisor.
- Liaison with the Workshop/Assembly & Test Supervisor and Workshop Technicians on any material, customer/project issues.
Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities
- Comply with STATS Integrated Management System when carrying out project engineering tasks.
- Comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
- Ensure all accidents/incidents/near misses/hazards are immediately reported to the QHSE team.
Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge
- Familiar with pressure equipment/piping and hazards of working on pressurized systems.
- Must have completed and passed the Level 1 and 2 internal technical training.
- Must be able to pass the STATS pre-employment physical tests.
- Must have worked in an industrial/mechanical environment.
- Mechanical aptitude skills and excellent communication skills; able to work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position.
- A Level 1 employee shall be able to work independently on activities that the person is qualified to perform.
- A Level 1 employee shall not perform any supervision activities.
