- Job Purpose
- Work as part of the engineering design team supporting the UK/EU region providing interventions focused engineering services for projects and operations.
Position will create engineering packages for regional interventions work including asset selection, job layout, stress analysis, split tee fitting selection and similar.

- Main Responsibilities
- Produces conceptual and detailed engineering design and analysis using available methods to support delivery of interventions scopes.
- Ensures engineering design packages are in full compliance with customer requirements and all relevant codes and standards, and carries out final approval of job layout and project-related design packages.
- Prepares equipment specifications for project and operational assignments.
- Assists with the preparation of project assembly CAD models, project layout drawings, test and lift plan drawings, GA drawings, manufacturing drawings and bills of materials.
- Reviews client supplied technical data in preparation for in‑house testing and / or project execution.
- Advises and instructs operations staff with respect to testing and assembly of equipment
- Attends client meetings as required, identifying design engineering requirements and processes to meet client needs.
- Adheres to project objectives, budget, schedules and deadlines.
- Maintains good working relationships internally with other departments and externally with clients.
- Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities
- To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
- Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is complete.

STATS Internal Course - Basic Level
- Tecno Plug, BISEP, Remotes, Hot Tapping etc.
EXPERIENCE / Competence / skills / knowledge
- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience, within the Oil and Gas industry, subsea experience would be an advantage
- Design experience to ASME pressure vessel/pipeline codes and standards; B31.4, B31.8, B31.3, ASME VIII Div 1 and 2
- Familiar with Process Plant or Pipeline interventions type work such as hot taps, line stops, welded fittings, repair clamps, isolations a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in 3D modelling and drafting. Proficient with Autodesk Inventor.
- Experienced and competent in checking and approving engineering design packages.

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
