At Statista, we’re all about facts and data, for we are the world's leading business data platform. By providing reliable and easy-to-use data as well as various data analytics products and services, we empower people worldwide to make fact-based decisions. Founded in Hamburg in 2007, we have quickly grown into a global company with offices in major cities such as London, New York, Berlin and Tokyo. Our constant growth does not only prove our success, but also keeps creating new development and career opportunities for our employees. We value and celebrate our diverse culture. You are welcome here for who you are, no matter where you come from, what you look like, or whether you prefer bar graphs to pie charts. Your story matters – keep writing it as part of our team.

Your role:

  • Own the day-to-day relationship for a portfolio of Key Accounts, building trusted partnerships with stakeholders across research, insights and strategy functions and deepening toward senior and executive contacts as the relationship matures, working in partnership with a Key Account Manager (KAM).
  • Develop a deep understanding of each client's business priorities, use cases and success metrics, proactively connecting Statista's products and services to the problems they're trying to solve, and translating that understanding into tailored success plans that drive genuine, lasting value.
  • Maintain an up-to-date account health picture across your portfolio, covering usage trends, stakeholder changes, risk signals and expansion indicators, acting proactively and feeding expansion signals into the account's broader commercial strategy.
  • Own ongoing client enablement, including platform education, product advisory and value-case training, as a continuous part of the relationship rather than a one-off onboarding event.
  • Prepare clients for renewal by demonstrating value achieved against success criteria, working closely with the commercial owner of the account on strategy and timing.
  • Contribute to the wider Client Success practice by sharing knowledge, mentoring junior CSMs, and helping shape how the team operates as it scales.

Your profile:

  • 5 to 8 years of B2B Customer Success experience, with a track record of managing and growing a portfolio of enterprise or strategic accounts in a subscription-based model.
  • A proven ability to build a deep understanding of each client's business objectives, translate that understanding into a structured plan for success, and turn the wins along the way into compelling ROI and value cases.
  • Commercial awareness: you understand that everything you do drives renewal and expansion outcomes, and you bring that mindset to every client conversation.
  • Sound judgement navigating complex, multi-stakeholder relationships, including senior and executive stakeholders, and the ability to build trust quickly in ambiguous or politically sensitive situations.
  • Proactive and organised at a portfolio level, comfortable using usage reports, health scores and account trends to build a credible business case and surface renewal risk early.
  • A true collaborative partner to your commercial counterpart and cross-functional teams, who understands precisely where CS ends and commercial ownership begins.

What we offer:

  • Work from abroad up to 30 calendar days a year.
  • Hybrid work and flex-time.
  • International team and social events.
  • Subsidized urban mobility and access to fitness and wellness options.
  • Free access to Langdock and all its amazing functionalities.
