Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to analyse current processes, define requirements, and support the delivery of improved business and technology solutions. This role will play a key part in shaping business change initiatives, ensuring that processes, systems, and requirements are clearly defined and aligned with organisational objectives. You will act as a bridge between business and technical teams, supporting the successful delivery of system improvements and modernisation programmes.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed process mapping to understand and document current workflows
- Identify inefficiencies and support the design of improved future-state processes
- Gather, analyse, and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to challenge existing processes and define new ways of working
- Translate business requirements into clear, structured documentation for technical teams and suppliers
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and system capabilities
- Support system change and migration activities, including transitions to cloud-based platforms
- Work closely with IT teams and external partners to support delivery of solutions
- Support data migration activities, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and security of data
- Evaluate existing systems and support recommendations for improvement or replacement
- Assist with the implementation and rollout of new systems and platforms
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and execution
- Contribute to the creation of training materials and user documentation
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external suppliers
Required experience:
- Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in a complex organisational environment
- Strong experience in process mapping, requirements gathering, and business process improvement
- Experience supporting system change or migration projects, ideally to cloud-based solutions
- Strong understanding of systems integration and data migration principles
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and external suppliers
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
