London | Hybrid Working (2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
We are seeking an experienced Systems Accountant to support and optimise our Dynamics 365 Finance environment following a recent ERP implementation. Working closely with Finance, Procurement and operational stakeholders, you will act as the bridge between finance processes and system functionality, helping to ensure the organisation is getting maximum value from its D365 Finance investment. This role will suit someone who has been through a Dynamics 365 Finance implementation and can provide practical insight into finance system best practice, process improvements and user adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the finance lead for Dynamics 365 Finance, supporting system optimisation and continuous improvement.
- Review and enhance finance processes across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets.
- Work with finance users to identify system improvements and resolve process issues.
- Support UAT, system testing and process validation activities.
- Assist with reporting, controls and finance data integrity.
- Provide guidance on finance system best practice and lessons learned from previous ERP implementations.
- Deliver user training and support adoption across the finance function.
- Liaise with external partners and internal stakeholders to prioritise and implement enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Systems Accountant or Finance Systems Consultant.
- Experience supporting or delivering a Dynamics 365 Finance implementation.
- Strong understanding of core finance processes including P2P, O2C and R2R.
- Experience with finance process improvement and system optimisation.
- Ability to engage effectively with both finance and technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with testing, user training and post-implementation support.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience within finance transformation or ERP programmes.
- Exposure to procurement and financial control improvement initiatives.
