We're working with a leading organisation to appoint an experienced Azure Security Architect to help shape and govern secure, scalable, and future-ready digital services. This role is ideal for a seasoned architect who can confidently balance security, risk, and delivery across complex cloud and enterprise platforms. The Azure Security Architect will take ownership of security architecture across Microsoft Azure and business-critical applications, ensuring solutions are designed with security by design principles and aligned to organisational risk and compliance requirements. The role will require 1 day per week onsite at the clients London offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and governance of secure Azure landing zones, identity models, and network controls
- Define and implement security standards (Conditional Access, PIM, segmentation, private endpoints, key management)
- Provide architectural guidance across integration patterns (APIs, Logic Apps, Functions, App Services)
- Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments, and define non-functional security requirements
- Review and secure integrations across Azure, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and third-party services
- Advise on secure authentication approaches (OAuth, managed identities, service principals, certificates)
- Support design authority, governance forums, and solution assurance activities
- Partner with InfoSec and delivery teams to align solutions with policy and compliance
Skills:
- Strong track record in Azure security architecture (enterprise scale)
- Deep understanding of identity, network security, monitoring, and encryption
- Experience with API and integration security patterns
- Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 and Dataverse security models
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and secure delivery practices
- Ability to balance risk vs delivery in fast-paced environments
