We are hiring a Full Stack Developer to join a small, fast-moving development team in Folkestone. Despite the title, this role leans heavily toward front end development and would suit someone who enjoys working on live websites, translating design into production, and improving how a site performs once it's live.
This is a hands-on role working on a live ecommerce platform where your work will directly impact user experience, performance and conversion.
The role
You will be working closely with design and internal stakeholders to take ideas from concept through to production, then continuously improve them based on real user data. A big part of the role is taking Figma designs and turning them into clean, responsive, production-ready front end within a C# .NET MVC environment. From there, you will help improve how the website performs across UX, page speed, mobile experience and conversion. This is not a ticket-driven environment. You will be trusted to take ownership of what you build and how it performs in a live setting.
What you will be doing
- Taking Figma designs and translating them into responsive front end code
- Building and improving features within a C# .NET MVC environment
- Improving website performance, page speed and overall user experience
