You will be joining an engineering-led team building greenfield software used in real laboratory environments, supporting chemists in designing, running and optimising chemical processes. The focus is on desktop application development (WPF / WinUI), with software that connects directly to lab equipment and automation systems. It is a hands-on role, building applications that are used day-to-day by scientists rather than internal business tools.
What you will be working on:
- Designing and building next-generation desktop applications in C# / .NET
- Developing software that interfaces with laboratory instruments and automation systems
- Creating tools that support scientific workflows and chemical processes
- Contributing to architecture and helping shape new systems from the ground up
- Working closely with engineers, product teams and domain specialists
This is a greenfield environment, with a strong focus on building new capability rather than maintaining legacy systems.
