I'm currently partnering with a specialist CRM consultancy that works exclusively with small and mid-sized charities across the UK. They are a certified Beacon CRM partner and also deliver selected Salesforce projects within the not-for-profit space. Their work supports organisations with fundraising, case management, volunteering, and impact reporting systems, helping charities operate more effectively and focus on delivering real social impact.
This is not a traditional internal CRM admin role. It's an opportunity to step into consultancy within the charity technology space, working across multiple organisations and full lifecycle implementation projects.
The Role
- CRM configuration and system build (primarily Beacon, some Salesforce)
- Supporting discovery and requirements gathering sessions
- Data structure design and reporting
- Supporting data migration and system transitions
- Delivering user training and post-go-live support
Over time, there is clear progression into leading workshops and taking greater ownership of client projects as your confidence and experience develop. You will be supported by an experienced team and exposed to real implementation work from day one.
About You
- Experience working with a CRM system (Beacon preferred, Salesforce considered)
- Background within the charity / not-for-profit sector
- Comfortable working with stakeholders and improving processes
- Experience with configuration, reporting or system improvements
- An interest in developing into a consultancy-style role
This role would particularly suit someone currently working as a CRM Administrator, Database Manager or Systems Officer within a charity who is ready to broaden their impact.
Why Consider This Role?
- Work exclusively within the charity sector
- Gain consultancy experience without being thrown in at the deep end
- Structured progression into leading workshops and client ownership
- Small, experienced team with genuine mentoring
- Exposure to full lifecycle CRM implementations
Location: Newbury (23 days per week in office)
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
