Commissioning Engineer
The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for attending various sites in Northern Ireland to install, commission, and set to work additional nurse call systems within existing healthcare and custodial environments. The role involves reviewing technical documentation, conducting equipment checks and system tests, and producing test reports to ensure compliance with specifications.
Working with all internal and external stakeholders to develop, introduce and improve SSG’s range of products and solutions, the role will provide customer centric technical support and training to both our customers and internal teams. The role will also develop and improve both the direct and indirect support teams, reporting to the Lead Solutions and Product Support Engineer.
As part of the production team, you will be expected to undertake a variety of roles within metalwork and final assembly to support the factory requirements on a variety of products covering our essential markets within Nurse call and Custodial solutions.
The individual will be expected to demonstrate flexibility, capability, and willingness to move around the factory to support production operations where required. Several workstations exist within metalwork, including machine operations, grinding, linishing, studding, paint preparation, powder coating and final assembly of the metalwork. Tasks are not complex; however, the ability to produce to the required output and quality standard is essential.
The individual is expected to be a reliable team player, operating as part of a small team delivering this aspect of factory output. We are particularly looking for candidates who have one of the following skill sets:
