We have a fantastic opportunity for a Coding Line Operative working continental rota 10.00 – 22.00.
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Purpose of the Role: To maintain high standards and help deliver the Logistics service to all internal and external customers. To maintain and operate systems and procedures to meet the current departmental needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Acting as a role model whilst demonstrating best practice at all times
- Building effective relationships
- Working safely at all times and communicating safety concerns promptly to Team Leader
- Maintain and improve housekeeping/GMP in all areas
- To complete all reasonable requests in line with instructions given
- To follow the correct procedure with regards to GMP
- To report/highlight any machinery or product related issues
- To palletise and de-palletise before and after products have been coded
- Ensure all product is coded with the correct Best Before dates
- Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
- Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures
Skills and Experience required:
- Experience in a warehouse/manufacturing role
- Able to communicate effectively
- Proactive approach
- Basic Maths and English
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems desirable
- Warehousing and/or relevant qualification advantageous
