Overview
The role is working Sunday to Thursday 22.00 to 06.00.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of equipment within the area of responsibility, ensuring the most effective return on assets with no detriment to the operation.
Responsibilities
- Understand and adhere to our Performance Management Systems and demonstrate Stateside Food behaviours.
- Carry out your daily duties as per ISO work instructions.
- Build effective relationships with all Stateside Foods employees.
- Develop employee engagement across the shifts and create an Employer of Choice culture.
- Identify faults and continually improve manufacturing processes.
- Carry out checks and paperwork with no errors and communicate problems promptly to the Team Leader, with additional designated CCP's.
- Set up the coding line at every changeover.
- Pick stock and follow the appropriate KPI's for this task.
- Act as MHE Operator with in-house training provided.
- Perform any other task that is reasonably requested in line with the Logistics department.
- Work safely at all times and communicate safety concerns promptly to the Team Leader.
- Perform 1st Line Maintenance of equipment in the designated area.
- Carry out good hygiene and housekeeping, ensure a clean-as-you-go policy, and keep all warehouse areas to a high standard.
- Ensure MERC and any other associated systems within Logistics are completed at the end of each shift.
Qualifications & Skills
Ideally, candidates will have worked in a similar role, possess good communication skills, and have the ability to problem‑solve.
Up to date FLT licence preferred.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems advantageous.
