We have an opportunity within our Packing Department for a Machine Operative. The role is working Monday to Friday 14.45 - 23.00. The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to the correct production standards which are to include good manufacturing practices.
Overview of the role:
- Maintain and improve housekeeping/GMP within all areas
- Set up machinery
- Operate various machines
- Report/highlight any machinery or product related issues
- Carry out basic machinery repairs/replacements on wear and tear
- Build effective relationships with Line Leaders and Team Leaders
- Step up in the absence of the Line Leader
- Any other reasonable requests
- Support and train colleagues where necessary
- Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
- Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures
Ideally candidates will have worked within a similar role with the ability to work as part of a team. Candidates should have good communication skills. Food production experience is preferred however not essential.
