We have an opportunity within our Toppings Department for a Line Leader.
The role will be working Monday to Friday 05.45 to 14.00.
Responsible for organising all manufacturing operations within the assigned area of responsibility, ensuring the most effective return on assets with no detriment to the operation.
An overview of the role is detailed below:
- Maintain and improve housekeeping/GMP within all areas
- Replenish line with raw materials
- To report/highlight any machinery or product related issues
- Acting as a role model for all agreed people management practices
- Managing, guiding and coaching direct reports whilst demonstrating best practice at all times
- Building effective relationships
- Responsibility for all CCP’s in designated areas
- Completion of paperwork and checks with no errors
- Promptly communicating problems to Team Leader
- Provide 1st Line supervisory to the line and employees
- Responsible for 1st Line Maintenance of equipment in the designated area
- Any other adhoc tasks requested by management
- Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
- Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures
Ideally candidates will have worked within a similar role with the ability to work as part of a team.
Candidates should have good communication skills with the ability to problem solve.
Candidates should have the ability to work within a fast paced environment and be able to lead a team.
