We have an opportunity within our Logistics Department for a Multi Skilled Operative. The role is working continental days 07.00 - 19.00. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of equipment within the area of responsibility, ensuring the most effective return on assets with no detriment to the operation.

Overview

  • Understand and adhere to our Performance Management Systems and demonstrate Stateside Food behaviours.
  • Carry out daily duties as per ISO work instructions.
  • Build effective relationships with all Stateside Food's employees.
  • Develop employee engagement across the shifts and create an Employer of Choice culture.
  • Identify faults and continually improve manufacturing processes.
  • Carry out checks and paperwork with no errors and communicate problems promptly to the Team Leader, with additional designated CCPs.
  • Set up the coding line at every changeover.
  • Pick stock and follow the appropriate KPIs for this task.
  • MHE Operator; in-house training will be given.
  • Perform any other task that is a reasonable request in line with the Logistics department.
  • Work safely at all times and communicate safety concerns promptly to the Team Leader.
  • Responsible for 1st Line Maintenance of equipment in the designated area.
  • Carry out good hygiene and housekeeping; ensure a clean as you go policy, and keep all warehouse areas to a high standard.
  • Ensure MERC and any other associated systems within Logistics are completed at the end of each shift.

Ideally, candidates will have worked within a similar role, have good communication skills with the ability to problem solve. An up-to-date FLT license would be preferred.
