We are looking for an enthusiastic Café Assistant to join our team and help us deliver a fantastic experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests and answering questions.
- Providing friendly, efficient service.
- Making coffees, teas, and preparing food items (hot pastries and cakes) to standard recipes.
- Clearing tables, washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and maintaining high sanitation standards.
- Till operation: processing cash and card transactions quickly and accurately.
- Stock maintenance: restocking service areas and assisting with inventory.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous cafe or customer service experience is preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent communication.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong teamwork.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Attitude: Punctual, energetic, and a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and lift or carry items.
