As a Sustainable Investing Analyst at State Street Investment Management, you will play a key role in fulfilling sustainable investing-related reporting and disclosure requirements, including work related to regulatory expectations and external commitments. Through this work, you will support the firm’s goals of maximizing our positioning in the market and providing excellent service to our clients.

The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Investment Management, one of the largest asset managers in the world. We partner with many of the world’s largest, most sophisticated investors and financial intermediaries to help them reach their goals through a rigorous, research-driven investment process.

As a Sustainable Investing Analyst (AVP), you will report to the Head of Sustainable Investing Operations and will be responsible for the following:

  • Play a leading role in the firm’s reporting to satisfy sustainable investing-related disclosure frameworks and external commitments
  • Help meet sustainable investing-related regulatory obligations in various jurisdictions
  • Support accurate reporting of the firm’s sustainable investing AUM
  • Help enable the broader Investments team and manage risk by centrally performing key tasks
  • Contribute to effective internal oversight of sustainable investing and asset stewardship
  • Monitor sustainable investing and asset stewardship-related market, regulatory, and industry developments
  • Collaborate across functions to advance priorities
  • Contribute to a variety of ongoing tasks and special projects as needs evolve

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience working for an asset manager required
  • 5‑7 years of relevant experience, such as sustainable investing, project management, risk, or compliance
  • Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks such as Principles for Responsible Investment and Taskforce on Climate‑related Financial Disclosures
  • Experience with regulatory analysis or regulatory compliance
  • Experience with data analysis and reconciliation
  • Experience implementing policies, procedures, and business controls
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel and comfort with leveraging AI tools
