Senior Events Manager role based in London, reporting to the VP, Head of Events and Sponsorships, International Events. Responsible for supporting the regional implementation of the client events strategy for large industry and proprietary events, as well as high priority regional events in EMEA. The role involves working closely with senior management, business and channel heads, and sales/client relationship teams to activate the event strategy and increase engagement with key stakeholders externally. You will develop an integrated marketing approach for event activation and drive operational excellence within the events team.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Implement and execute 20-30 event engagements per year.
- Develop and lead an integrated marketing approach for regional event activations, including PR, social, content strategy, client and internal communications, lead generation and marketing analytics.
- Develop communications plans across the event lifecycle including client communications, agenda programming and promotions.
- Partner with global events colleagues and marketing channel leads to ensure alignment across client event experience.
- Regional reporting including calendaring, event guides, budget and metrics.
- Vendor management, including governance and due diligence requirements.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 5-7 years experience with project managing event programs; preferably in a B2B financial services environment.

- Considerable knowledge of vendor and third-party project management and negotiation.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Experience with social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
- Experience in digital events tools, both collaboration and virtual events platforms.
- Self-sufficient, prepared to work on both strategic and tactical activities; ability to work autonomously.
- Moderate experience with video and podcasting platforms and the promotion of posted content.
- Willing to manage schedule; occasional weekends and evenings required.
- 20-30% travel; assessed in accordance with recent and updated company policies.
