We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Platform Architect to drive and align Enterprise Architecture strategy that involves cross-organizational and Enterprise initiatives, Programs across multiple sectors such as AI & ML, Cloud Transformations, Application Platforms & Platform Solutioning. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Microservices, AI Gateways, ML, Data & Analytics, OLAP Platforms (Databricks or Snowflake), AWS architecture, API Gateway, networking, security and automation. This role will drive scalable, secure, and cost-efficient platform solutions, working closely with Enterprise Level divisions to ensure alignment with business and compliance requirements. This position requires extensive experience with the development lifecycle, understanding of a modern technology stack, platform architecture trends and application performance diagnosis on Databricks, AWS services, networking, etc.

What You Will Be Responsible For:
- You will be working with the SSIM PPS model, Cross Organization Architects, and Platform engineering.
- You will help implement application modernization migration and strategies.
- You will lead development across global locations, understanding current state challenges and helping establish a well-considered roadmap.
- You will identify creative solutions for technical challenges.
- You will manage conflicts with multiple stakeholders while keeping project goals in focus.
- You will derive cloud solutions for application teams on their modernization and migration.
- You will help drive the next generation of service platforms.
What We Value:
- Prior experience migrating application workloads on a cloud provider (AWS, Databricks) in financial services would be a plus.
- Strong knowledge in API Gateway, AI/ML & event-driven architecture.
- Certifications on the appropriate cloud provider (e.g., AWS, Databricks) would be a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to diplomatically and effectively manage issues across functional teams.
- Successful candidate should be enthusiastic and keen to be part of a growing team.
- Knowledge of KONG API Gateway is a plus.
- Sound understanding of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technology-related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required.
- 15+ years of solution architecture, design and delivery experience.
- 5+ years of AWS Cloud, Databricks architecture and solutions.
- 5–7 years in Python or Java as development experience.
- 7+ years of architecture/development, microservices experience as a technical architect lead.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud native technologies such as microservices, containerization and API services.
- 5+ years of experience in OLTP (Oracle and PostgreSQL are desirable).
- Excellent knowledge of public-cloud tech stack and experience in designing, deploying and supporting enterprise workloads to the cloud.
- Prior working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) or waterfall.
Salary Range: $120,000 – $202,500 Annual.
