This Client Executive role will bring a "One State Street" experience to some of our most important clients. They will be strategic and proactive, manage an integrated and well-coordinated global virtual team, and ultimately drive greater value for both organizations. This role will be responsible for driving client satisfaction for these significant clients, and will facilitate access to industry leading thought partnership and solutions in an easy to navigate model.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive client strategy and deliver expected revenue
  • Engage client C-suite regularly to understand client strategy and communicate State Street's strategy
  • Develop and communicate a joint State Street / client strategic agenda
  • Maximize client value creating effective partnership
  • Manage client relationship like a business, with ownership of P&L
  • Maximize the client's value holistically across all of State Street (excluding SSGA), including actively identifying, developing, and leading cross-selling opportunities with support from Sales & Client Management to provide seamless client experience
  • Define requirements for the global virtual team to best support client
  • Coordinate and drive cooperation between supporting roles (RMs, Client Solutions, Client Delivery, Sales)
  • Ensure that clients trust State Street can deliver, and that State Street can deliver beyond what is expected
  • Deliver all of State Street to client
  • Bring the best of State Street to client in all areas of relationship (e.g., strategic planning, operational delivery, thought leadership, new products/technology, etc.)
  • Proactively bring new solutions across all internal areas to client (e.g., including GM, Alpha etc)

Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience managing a large, preferably global, PnL
  • Track record growing revenues & sales for a global franchise
  • Proven ability operating & influencing at client C-Suite levels
  • Strong understanding of asset servicing / securities services / custody operations
  • Experience in managing large direct & in-direct (matrix) organizations across multiple locations
