State Street is seeking an experienced Vice President, Billing Technology Solution Architect to serve as a senior individual contributor within the Billing Technology organization. This role combines deep solution architecture expertise with strong business analysis capabilities and extensive knowledge of Oracle Revenue Management. The successful candidate will translate complex business requirements into scalable end-to-end solutions across ORMB and integrated platforms, partner with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, and guide delivery teams through design, development, testing, and implementation. The role requires a strong understanding of customized ORMB environments, cross-platform integrations, and the ability to bridge business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for billing-related initiatives across ORMB and integrated platforms.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, operations teams, product owners, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality business and functional solution artifacts, including BRDs, FSDs, solution designs, process flows, and system interaction diagrams.
  • Assess impacts across applications, business processes, data flows, security models, and operational workflows.
  • Define solution approaches that balance business objectives, platform capabilities, maintainability, and risk management.
  • Facilitate design reviews with business, development, QA, UAT, operations, and architecture stakeholders.
  • Support agile delivery processes through refinement of requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation standards, architecture practices, and solution governance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on ORMB capabilities, limitations, customization strategies, and integration patterns.
  • Support strategic modernization efforts, including adoption of Agile, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), automation, and improved business-to-technology traceability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in solution architecture, business analysis, or techno-functional leadership roles.
  • Deep expertise with Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB).
  • Experience supporting customized ORMB implementations in large enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of billing operations and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience within the State Street Billing Technology ecosystem.
  • Experience with CSA and other billing-related platforms.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Jira, and Behavior-Driven Development practices.
  • Familiarity with software testing, QA collaboration, and UAT processes.
  • Basic understanding of software architecture, systems integration, databases, and software development.
