We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Sales & Client Management team looking after our Repo, Agency Lending and Prime Brokerage businesses. State Street’s European presence in securities lending is long‑standing. In that time, we have built a long and enviable list of clients, spanning the very top tier of asset owners, pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign entities, and alternative clients. This individual will support our clients’ daily servicing needs in the financing products as well as support the Sales team with various tasks. Ensuring that our client‑facing organization operates smoothly and delivers for our clients is of paramount importance.
The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Markets (SSGM). When owners and managers of institutional assets need research, trading, securities lending and innovative portfolio strategies, they turn to SSGM. As our investment research and trading arm, SSGM’s number one goal is to enhance and preserve our clients’ portfolio values by applying technology, optimizing trading, and linking asset classes and markets across the world.

Program dates: 22nd June 2026 – 21st June 2027. You must be available to participate in the program in person, starting from day one and for its full duration and you are required to work from the office 4 days a week.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Perform all necessary administrative tasks to support client activity in Repo, Agency Lending and Prime Brokerage (including pipeline tracking, meeting minutes, pitchbook updates)
- Support the relationship managers and sales teams within Financing Solutions to create a seamless onboarding and servicing model, including creation of presentations, improving reporting, and managing daily client activities
- Work with key internal stakeholders to grow our existing relationships, optimise revenue and improve client satisfaction
- Interact with clients to manage queries and elevate issues professionally and in a timely manner
- Coordinate across Asset Services and other State Street divisions to support execution of strategic RFPs and pricing decisions, including driving change to improve these processes
- Provide the Sales and RM teams with support in the completion of the revenue estimate & pricing model processes
- Assist the team in planning and organisation of marketing, events and conferences.
- Support relationship managers in ensuring accurate and complete static data on systems at all times. Ensure any changes are made in a timely manner.
- Understand securities lending market dynamics, anticipate any potential client impact, engage with and manage clients accordingly.
- Coordinate any other project work on behalf of the team, liaising with any other teams where necessary.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum 2.1 honours degree or equivalent (predicted)
- Undergraduate students: degree in Economics, Finance, or Mathematics
- To apply you must be an undergraduate who is eligible to work in the UK and able to start your placement in early June 2026 and remain in the position for 12 months. You must be intending to return to university to finish your degree after the placement.
