Hands-on technology with 15+ years developing large-scale financial applications. Must understand financial operations (middle/back office) and be motivated to learn diverse specialized topics in financial information processing. Must have solid core programming skills (data structures, algorithms, functional decomposition, code structuring/refactoring, core programming patterns, etc.), and knowledge of information system architecture principles (microservice architecture, three-tier architecture, event-driven processing, service orchestration/discovery, etc.). Must have good problem-solving skills. Must have experience with Transfer Agency. CI/CD and Agile experience required. Must be willing to learn and work with programming languages/frameworks other than main specialization.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Own the ZILO application platform across production, UAT, and development environments.
  • Manage relationship with business stakeholders (Operations, Transfer Agency, Compliance, and ZILO vendors).
  • Ability to transfer business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and third-party vendors.
  • Work with a global team of software developers, QA engineers and business stakeholders.
  • Develop new and maintain existing applications.
  • Contribute code, perform code reviews, provide training to junior team members.
  • Participate in discussions, planning, code release activities.
  • Work closely with the Business/Product teams on requirements analysis, implementation estimates, and design.
  • Provide hands-on real-time support for live production systems to ensure business continuity, help resolve processing issues, provide support for data conversions and onboarding.
  • Help migrate existing services or develop new applications for public cloud platforms.

You will be expected to:

  • Contribute independently and collaboratively.
  • Interpret domain (financial processing) requirements, review business requirements for quality, and come up with technical solutions ranging from small fixes to feature implementations across diverse tech stack.
  • Reverse-engineer functional specifications from existing code and relate existing architecture to business domain functionality.
  • Understand the business processes supported by the application.
  • Actively participate in the ongoing enhancement of supported applications; proactively identify critical issues and risks; troubleshoot and resolve issues within current software.
  • Work in fast-paced agile team environment.
  • Comply with standards and regulations established by both internal and external organizational governance.
  • Be confident in making technical decisions independently and taking initiatives in order to make a positive contribution into the overall project stream.

  • Experience in developing data solutions as Oracle App DB developer.
  • Hands-on experience in writing complex queries, performance tuning, and designing for performance.
  • Understanding of Financial domain, specifically OTC derivatives.
  • Experience in working with Vendor platforms and critical transactional systems.
  • Experience in agile delivery & adhering to SDLC processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, and collaboration.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Aptitude for learning new and complex environments, processes, and technologies.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet varying deadlines and work volumes and should have the ability to work in a coordinated team environment.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
