State Street Alpha Implementation team is looking for an EMEA Change Management Lead to support management of changes in scope from Service Definition to Go Live. We’re looking for professionals with experience across front and middle office operating models, business analysis, data management and project management disciplines. The role will be client-facing and includes interaction with the wider STT teams and senior management. The successful candidate will collaborate across STT/CRD products and services, to execute client change requests in accordance with defined governance ensuring solutions align to Alpha Standards and are delivered efficiently with any impacts to successful program execution documented and appropriately managed.
The team you will be joining is a part of State Street AlphaSM. State Street AlphaSM is the first open platform from a single provider that connects the front, middle and back office. It harmonizes data, technology and services across trusted providers to help our clients better manage their businesses.
As AVP – Change Management Lead, you will:
- Support the triage of new client change requests, facilitating professional challenge where required to ensure the interests of the client and State Street are managed.
- Identify and engage stakeholders on each change request and drive delivery and approval of high-quality impact assessment documentation.
- Demonstrate awareness of client business and Alpha target operating models to ensure clear understanding of change requests, and support cross-functional solutioning, driving timely execution.
- Ensure correct governance is followed for any non-standard solutions.
- Engage and support internal colleagues to ensure Change Management process is stood up in Production prior to go-live.
- Track financial impact of changes, drive revenues and ensure all non-chargeable work is recorded.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of Alpha Implementation project plans and the impact of change requests on deliverables.
- Work with workstream leads to address the change impact against key milestones on the project plan, ensuring escalation to Senior Management of any significant risks.
- Drive accountability of stakeholders through setting of clear priorities and assignment of actions to ensure changes are delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
- Demonstrate thought leadership to contribute to continuous improvement of Change Management processes and drive further development and implementation of the Alpha Standards.
- Present proposals for process enhancement with consideration given to scalability and application to global change processes.
- Deputise for EMEA Client Change Manager when required and support development of new and junior staff members.
- Proactively raise risks and issues effectively within the program, drive solutions and effectively communicate options.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years relevant experience in financial services, preferably in the asset management sector, including investment operations.
- Project/Change Management experience.
- External client management experience.
- Understanding of outsourced operations, specifically middle office.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus.
