Role Overview
The Director of Wealth Advisory Services will lead the end-to-end development of State Street’s Portfolio Implementation business, a new investment advisory service that will be brought to market alongside Charles River Development wealth platform. This role will work closely with teams across the Charles River Development, State Street, State Street Global Advisors, and external partners to develop innovative new wealth advisory services for leading global wealth management organizations, their financial advisors and investors.
Role Overview
The Director of Wealth Advisory Services will lead the end-to-end development of State Street’s Portfolio Implementation business, a new investment advisory service that will be brought to market alongside Charles River Development wealth platform. This role will work closely with teams across the Charles River Development, State Street, State Street Global Advisors, and external partners to develop innovative new wealth advisory services for leading global wealth management organizations, their financial advisors and investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the ongoing development of product/service strategy for wealth investment advisory services to wealth management providers (e.g. banks, BDs, RIAs) to include portfolio rebalancing, overlay management, and portfolio personalization services such as tax optimization, implementation of tax/risk transition strategies, and direct indexing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Charles River Development, State Street, State Street Global Advisors, and external partners to ensure alignment with client needs and strategic objectives.
- Manage the design and delivery of proof-of-concept initiatives, as well as prospective client investment product/service development, and oversee their implementation into scalable solutions.
- Provide sales and product/service development support with some subject matter expertise in wealth advisory services such as overlay management of SMA/UMA and other fee-based programs, high-volume fund and ETF model rebalancing rebalancing, and portfolio personalization including tax optimization and direct indexing.
- 10+ years of experience in wealth management, wealth fee-based program development/operations, investment advisory service delivery and operations, and/or investment technology.
- Proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions for complex financial services projects.
- Strong understanding of wealth management platforms, fee-based investment advisory services and regulatory considerations.
- Proficiency in technical project execution: Adept at translating technical requirements into actionable solutions, including data modelling, API integration, and system testing for wealth applications.
- Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Series 65 Certification preferred

Salary Range
$170,000 - $252,500 Annual
